About Inbal Yassur, LMFT (she/her)

InbalI believe that…

The most profound growth and healing we experience is through authentic connection with ourselves and others. Having a space to heal and cultivate a deep sense of wellbeing is essential to growth.

My approach is…

… compassionate and perceptive. Using mindfulness, self-compassion, CBT, and EMDR, I help clients enhance their inner skills and strengthen their capacity to regulate, reconcile past traumatic events and feel grounded. Together, we explore unhelpful patterns that get in the way of healthy habits, noticing what depletes and what nourishes our well-being. My hope is to ease experiences of stress, trauma, loss, and anxiety so that you can thrive.

Specialty areas

I support adults overwhelmed by anxiety and depression and struggling with trauma, grief, and loss. We attend to the state of the body, mind, and heart to enhance self-compassion and resilience. Through our work together, my clients regain a sense of ease and inner peace and rediscover joy and meaning in their lives.

I also support individuals facing challenges due to differences from the culture at large. Many of my clients grapple with low self-esteem, isolation, and vulnerability, leading to depression and anxiety. I help them explore their identities, narratives, and beliefs using transformative tools like drama therapy and mindful awareness. We foster a deeper connection with the self, and they discover empowerment in their uniqueness.

My credentials

I am a bilingual and bicultural licensed marriage and family therapist working with adults of all ages. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and I am excited about the effectiveness of this modality. I am a certified Mindfulness and Community Resiliency instructor, a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and also provide supervision to pre-licensed associates.

I love…

…dew drops, rainbows, immersing in nature, being carried away by a good novel, laughing at myself when I make mistakes, pickleball, the stillness of silence, meditation, and how poetry fills my heart.
